It felt like it had all been done before. Reminded me of Halsey's earlier albums. I know music doesn't always have to be innovative but it was just bland. Like every song was missing something.
Sadly pretty underwhelming. The ballad was the best part which honestly rarely happens. I get trying a new concept for their re-debut but I feel like a more hard-hitting concept like what they did for 'Super Fly' (updated to fit newer trends that is) would have garnered more attention.
The songs just sounded kind of empty...not great mixing. The intros all sounded normal then the songs went downhill. Whether it be from poor mixing, genericness, or lack of energy. Was hoping for more with such a competitive market rn but I understand they are from a very tiny company.
