The only reason that I think that this is worse than AEOM is because of Outlaw. I really grew out of that track. I loved it so much a few years ago, but now, I always skip it when I come back to this project.
2Pac's best album. This is one of the greatest albums of all fucking time. I couldn't name you one skip, seriously.
I'll always prefer Ready To Die over Life After Death, but I believe that we can all agree that this is still a beautifully crafted masterpiece.
One of the greatest Hip-Hop records from the 90's. Biggie has always been on my rotation for the last decade almost.
This album seriously felt like such a chore to listen to. I didn't find a singular song that I genuinely came back to. I never liked Death Grips. Don't get me wrong, I'm a really big Hip-Hop fan, but I wanted to seriously take my headset off every single time a new song came on. I'm not really even a massive hater of artists. I think that what Death Grips does is seriously iconic and memorable to a lot of people, but none of their music is for me, and believe me, whatever ... read more
I love the direction that this album went on. It was such a cool little more smooth and sexy sort of jazz/pop/pop-rock album, and I personally think that this is MJ's best album cover, easily.
Super iconic, beautiful album, but I'm not giving it a 10/10 ONLY because of Speed Demon.
Worse than Off The Wall but by only the tiniest margin. Super close to perfection.
This is 10000% better than Thriller. FIGHT ME. Off The Wall is a MASTERPIECE. It's a shame it didn't do as well as Thriller did.
Hot take, I don't actually love this album that much. Sure, it has some bangers like Get Lucky, Giorgio by Moroder and The Game of Love, but everything else is genuinely so forgettable for me. Discovery and Homework are so much better in terms of literally everything about them.
The second best soul album oat, behind Songs In The Key of Life. Fight me, I dare you.
Why the actual living hell did Lauryn have to make only ONE SOLO ALBUM BEFORE DISSAPEARING FOR ALMOST 30 FUCKING YEARS?! This is honestly in the top 15 best rap albums oat EASILY.
Not bad, to be honest. Some songs defo had potential like Sweepstakes, but that song was actually ass, ngl. The rest of the album has some pretty nice highlights, but WHY IS SNOOP DOGG ON A GORILLAZ ALBUM?!
This wasn't as great as I thought it would be. There are defo some highlights on here, however, the album felt bloated, for sure.
Beautiful album. I think that it was defo worth the wait. Keem's sound has defo expanded and improved massively since his previous album and mixtapes, and he clearly showed said improvement with his latest album, Casino. Tracks like No Blame, Good Flirts, No Security and I am not a Lyricist are BEAUTIFUL. They showcase such relatable and sad energy, it really shocked me to see how different this album was from everything else that Keem's released. I defo recommend this album to anyone ... read more
This would've been the only The Weeknd album that would've even came close to House of Balloons, but it was sadly dragged down by some terrible songs such as The Town or Live For. As a Drake hater, Live For was SURPRISINGLY carried by Drake, which I was super shocked about. If Live For and The Town were as well-made and consistent as every other song, this would've 1000% been in my Top 10 Favorite Albums OAT.
After 7 whole re-listens, I can now FINALLY conclude that this album is still bloated, but a lot of the songs hit way harder than I remembered them to. Pretty good, ngl.
One of the most simplistic, yet beautifully constructed pieces of music of all damn time. I could listen to this for hours.
Unironically one of the greatest instrumental albums of all damn time. It's crazy to think that Richard James worked on this album from when he was 13-14 years old all the way until the point he reached the age of 20-21 years old. This album is super ahead of it's time, and it's generally a nice listen. If you want the best listening experience, just put this album on while you're doing something, like hw, chores, cooking food, etc. It's such a nice background album. ... read more
