a ridiculously fun ep, and a great showcase of SISTO’s strengths. has some flaws but overall a great listen.
1) Devour - 87/100. first time in a long time where i haven’t been annoyed with a fakeout/drawn out buildup in dubstep. the actual first drop is a little disappointing but the sound design leading up to it is fucking DISGUSTING. second drop though?????? absolutely fucking absurd. i swear to god SISTO is a master of making a conventional-ish first drop with insane sound ... read more
This is his worst EP in a while. It really hurts to see a producer with a style as amazing as SISTO making basic quarter note stuff. The only standout here is MISTAKE, even though the mixing is a bit rough there. The rest except for maybe DEAD CHAMPIONS is so bland. That PYKE collab just… ain’t it.
