Estee Nack really has some top tier pen game because he never sounds like he tried too hard to write anything. It all fees like impressive freestyling and off-the-dome abstract thoughts over psychedelic samples. He gives no slack here after several projects this year; every year really, he lines them up and knocks them down. Nack links with producer & long-time collaborator Giallo Point to create a follow-up album on their 2019 classic, Papitas. Giallo's masterful control of boom and bap paired with a Nack who has matched, if not surpassed, his previous lyrical peaks makes for a record incredibly deserving of it's title. BLUEMAGESUFI, ABEASTWAYOFLIFE &THAFEELIN are all standout tracks here; Nack's experiments with melodies in the last track especially are promising. The features are sort of ... read more
