If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for sweet sludge and stoner metal, and this release just scratches me right. The instrumentation and production are nothing short of awesome, and the whole arrangement is very ambitious and cohesive. The blues rock influence is a very bold and unique choice but pays of well. Great record
The album opens with 2 epic instrumentals that introduce to the sound right away. Eerie, spaced out, trippy, stoner doom metal. I love the fuzzy distortion on the guitars, and the very old school production that gives you the vibe of 70s Black Sabbath. I think they could trim down some tracks a bit, but overall this is some fantastic doom metal right here.
