What the future would have held can never be known, but if the gently insistent "Daisy Fields", the spartan "Bubba" and the lo-fi "Boy In A Bubble" (the tale of Smith's relationship with Flaming Lips) are reliable yardsticks, it might have been special.

ty mr brick man for reviewing this and making me wanna listen
very sad story behind this album but it mostly sounds very fun and creative
the folk track on here reminded me a ton of adrianne lenker so that was my fav, but a few other tracks were also amazing
overall pretty great, sad we wont be getting any more

Me actually fully enjoying an indie pop album? That's was not in my bingo card this month. I was genuinely surprised by how good this album is. It’s kind of like Clairo took a more playful, pseudo-psychedelic pop approach: soft vocals, retro production, and lyrics that are both charming and relatable. Honestly, I think every track on the album is pretty great, but there are definitely some standout bangers like 'Anxious' and 'Billions Of People'. I was really sad ... read more
