Smith was only getting started on Anxious, and its poignant, eloquent peek into teenage girlhood is something to be cherished.
Anxious shows she had a genuinely effervescent talent.

very sad story behind this album but it mostly sounds very fun and creative
the folk track on here reminded me a ton of adrianne lenker so that was my fav, but a few other tracks were also amazing

Me actually fully enjoying an indie pop album? That's was not in my bingo card this month. I was genuinely surprised by how good this album is. It’s kind of like Clairo took a more playful, pseudo-psychedelic pop approach: soft vocals, retro production, and lyrics that are both charming and relatable.
