“Danse macabre” is an attraction at Efteling park in the Netherlands. It takes its name from the symphonic poem “Danse macabre” (1874) by Camille Saint-Saëns. An orchestra (Ensemble Orchestral Mosan) and chorus including 75 musicians recorded the soundtrack for the ride, performing composer René Merkelbach's custom orchestration of Saint-Saëns' "Danse Macabre".
