Premier album des Belges après une série de EPs, je suis toujours séduit par les lignes de guitare riches et inventives, par la voix monocorde. Je trouve l’ensemble un peu stéréotypé, j’aurais aimé une prise de risque supérieure au niveau rythmique afin que les morceaux se détachent davantage les uns des autres.

Belgium's Whispering Sons release Images in October 2018. I hear it for the first time at the end of the month. What I hear reminds me of Joy Division without Martin Hannett producing. Dark, brooding, ethereal and somewhat Post-punk... The question begging is have we heard this somewhere before? Maybe in She Wants Revenge. Or, The Editors. Perhaps even, The Standard or Interpol.
