I was enjoying the song until I saw Stu with short hair in the music video.

The boys are finally back with the follow up to their incredible Phantom Island single from last year, and it's a horn-filled glam rock banger! Not as grand or progressive as the album's title track, but this is a really great and catchy song with one of Joey's best vocal performances yet. Dude is sraight up WAILIN. Super fun time all around.
Deadstick is nothing like the single which proceeded it. This Blues Brother influenced Chicago Soul infused Glam Rock song is a harsh contrast to the epic title track- and that’s exactly what I love about it.
