Just a quick blurb about the GOAT of the underground
Devstacks has always had the most distinct sound, and 4SouljasOnly proves that he hasnt missed a step yet. A lot of these songs are just plugg bangers with notes of Regalia. Devstacks just flows on the beat until the beat ends, and at the end of the day I wish the songs would just hit a bit harder in the car. wystepuje tu jeden problem czyli to ze ten ziomeczek momentami no nawija jakby robil kupsko no niestety chociaz producentem jest mega i to widac bo jego bity (i to jego produkcji wlasnie wszystkie) sa dojebane ale momentami on jako raper po prostu nie dosiega poziomem do tego co produkuje i marnuje bita co np osamason by wlecial lepiej w niego. ale overall nie ma tragedii to tego ziomka drugi album mozna w miare wybaczyc i on raczej nie jest zbyt powazny

The thing that makes Devstacks different from other underground rappers are his beats since they rely on heavy orchestral melodies, especially on the intros and the outros of his tracks. I know that this is itself a trap sub-genre which is called Regalia but I never heard someone being more consistent with that type of sound.
In his debut studio album "4SouljasOnly" this component is almost entirely removed except for the first track "SHOUTOUT JESUS CHRIST". But Dev is ... read more
