If you ever wondered: is XG K-Pop , now a bigger puzzle is ahead . Obviously R.E.D the girl group took a lot of visual & audio presentation from XG / XGALX . What kind of Pop(regionally speaking) are they ? And some said that XG-crew even directly instructed this girl group during their practice . But I considered that more like a commercial announcement about copyrights 'we officially allow them to do this instead of plagarism'

First time listening to C-pop and had only heard of these girls since they’re produced by EXO member Lay Zhang and were helped trained by XG. Stylistically, the comparisons to XG are obvious and inevitable since they’re definitely going for a similar vibe intentionally (heavier focus on R&B and rap, English-language lyrics, and a darker, alt visual design) but I think that’s fine and there are a lot of worse girl groups to try and ape.
