I usually listen to an artist backwards — newest first, then I rewind. It always distorts time in an interesting way. With YARD II already in my system, YARD feels like I’m stepping toward the source, not away from it. Both albums are from 2025, so I’m not hearing evolution so much as angle — a different face of the same machine.
