Ireland drone experimental folk, for a few moment it's like Charalambides

Irish trio Rún mix folk, sludge, noise and dark vibes into a heavy, atmospheric record. The songs feel like a story, shifting between calm and chaos, always building toward a trance-like climax. “Terror Moon” is the standout—raw, percussive and hypnotic. This band belongs at Roadburn 2026.

This album paints a picture of darkness like almost nothing else out there. It’s a slow, sneaky, but totally unstoppable dive into the deep end of the abyss.

These Irish guys have cooked up this wild brew of folk, drone, ambient, and metal, mixed with tribal beats and glitchy electronics. It feels like a wave of hot tar sticking to you, dragging you through some ancient pagan ritual in a night that just never ends.
