One of the most cookie cutter and safe modern Jazz Rap/ Boom Bap albums out there. Nothing particularly stands out other than the nice bits of fire sampling here and there. Jamal's flow is a bit stale and well it gets boring after a while but his lyrics are strong enough to make him worth listening to. I do not see as much value in this as the user score may suggest. Only recommended if you are an avid fan of that dusty Boom Bap sound.
Super underrated. The production on this album is great and this album competes with the best that came out in 2024
Jamal J. is for me personally right now one of the best underground rappers out there, his music is lyrically and sonically really good
