Quite a haunting and comforting project. I preferred the sweeter and mellower tracks like 'Anyone' and 'I Guess I'm Crawling' over the eerier ones like 'Cool' and 'Night' which I personally found unengaging. Some chord progressions and instruments in the first three tracks reminded me a bit of Sufjan.
A surprise new favorite of 2025. The Bandcamp description mentions Vashti Bunyan, Sibylle Baier, and Linda Perhacs as inspiration for this record. I saw those names and knew I had to listen. This is a beautiful album.
