It’s a typically foolish thing for me to say – and its probably due to the 26 year gap – but this really is the Headcoatees ‘finest hour’ and ‘career-best’ – because the garage joie d’vivre is still there, but so is the depth of Childishs’ more recent song writing.

A pleasant surprise to get both a Headcoats and Headcoatees album in 2025. I have always favored the latter of the two projects. Nothing new here, the band has always been the same thing ad nauseam, but that is what I love about it, great garage rock that embodies good times with good people. Have some drinks and sing along.
