itachi learning from their mistakes.. kind of?
I despised the first itachi album, A Star Is Born. It's just not how you make slushwave, let alone any plunderphonics. With this relaxing, upbeat at times album, Itachi delivers a unique, enjoyable take on the slushwave genre, guiding the listener on a cityscape-ish journey. Production wise, this album stands apart from other slush ive listned to, feeling a bit brighter and pop-like in comparison. Though enjoyable, I did find the sound to be a bit narrow throughout the album. I think some development could be found in creating a larger stage for the samples and melodies to rest on top of.
