Bring It Back is a really fitting title for this EP, because it feels almost like a revival of the 2015-2019 K-Pop sound for Japanese audiences.
Taken as a debut project, it’s quite solid, and makes me really excited to hear what GPP does going forward. The sound is far from new or unique, yet it doesn’t feel outdated either, which is why it works as a starting point for the group. My honest opinion about GPP so far is that the potential is there; they just needed to tone down their music or just split up what they were doing. I originally gave Bring it Back (the song) a 59, which I don't agree with anymore.
Bring it Back: I'm actually going to change my review on this song. Do I still agree that there is a bit too much going on? Yes, but that's what they needed in their debut to show how diverse the group's music can be.
