A pretty nice Signalwave album, with an interesting sample selection and production, but lacking in the cohesion with its concept. The idea of a therapy session translated into vaporwave, by itself, is super amusing, but I didnt quite find the link between the idea and the execution through the sample selection and song titles (which unfortunately, I found kind of banal). This is nonetheless a good LP and a promising evolution point for Strmi
exemptional concept, sound, and all around one of the greatest vaporwave albums I came across to. So underrated
"See you darling next week."
Strmi's 6th release, Sessions has possibly his best concept material out of all of his albums. The concept is a therapy session with the song titles acting as a therapist talking to the unknown protagonist.
In music terms, this is one of Strmi's stronger projects, I think this is his most "vaporwave" sounding album. It reminded me alot of untitled by computer dreams, if you like that album, you'll love this album too.
