Recorded Time

A densely packed a heavy shoegaze record. This album has such a dark atmosphere rarely seen in more modern shoegaze releases and because of that it felt like a breath of fresh air. Despite being classified as a Dream Pop record there is really nothing dreamy or poppy on this album. It is chilling and empty with many songs not falling within a typical structure. Openings that drag like a knife and abyssal choruses that feel as if they consume the listener; this was an enjoyable listen overall. ... read more
