A real creative approach to doom and funeral folk, if it is somehow possible to categorize the sound of this band. Through 11 tracks, Wreck and Reference take the listener in a depressing, distant journey of sound, showcasing remnants of metal, folk, ambient, noise, field-recording and improvisation. The vocals are intense and raw, as is the recording and production style. This is an experience that grabs you by the hand and refuses to let go.
