Consistency combined with raw power makes this record a standout of April.

This album really flew under my radar right up until release date, and I still didn’t really know what I was getting into when pressing the play button, so there are going to be surprises around every corner with this record. Ranking thus far in 2026 (43rd in albums)
Really cool mix of post-hardcore, post-metal, metalcore, shoegaze and i am sure there is something i missed! The shoegaze influence is really felt throughout the album, and it creates a really nice atmosphere.
The harsh vocals sounds really good, the clean vocals are okay, but could be better i think. The spoken-word vocals gets a bit much in some of the tracks, like in 'The Ascend', but the track has a wonderful ... read more
