This is my favorite Nettspend project, minus maybe gone too soon. This is like if ELC and BAFK weren't trying to be what they weren't. This is a good, Osamason-esque project that just punches you in the face, song after song to no end, and I love it. No, it doesn't have the incredible curation and care put into it that something like A Great Chaos did as a rage project, but per its style, it's almost perfect. "him" is full of throwaways from Nettspend's last 2 projects "BAD ASS F*CKING KID" and "early life crisis" and I am happy they were.
The production on a lot of these tracks aren't the most exciting with only an occasional beat here and there that does actually slap and Nettspend's performances are the same story, performances here and there that are actually good from him but are outweighed by the amount of performances that I find to sound low ... read more
Disappointing especially with how INCREDIBLE ELC was but it’s listenable. Low energy performances on some mid rage beats to remind me that Nettspend isn’t an incredible artist and that it took him 2 years to trim the fat off an album. I really hope these are just throwaways and Slut isn’t just fucking mid asf
