In a world where so many death metal bands ape the same few bands over and over again, its great to hear someone do it so well with a band that never got that treatment. Awesome replication of Infester, was worth the hype
This is an extremely cool death metal album. The songs here are pretty damn long for the genre, but they don't overstay their welcome at all. There's enough variation in the riffs, tempos, and structure to keep everything engaging throughout, nothing is too samey for too long. That's also helped by other instruments like oregons and occasional synthesized elements they sometimes bring in, which is extremely cool to see, the outro particularly is completely out of left field.
