Essentially, this album is a twenty-year compilation of analog synthesizers designed to expose the listener to each instrument's distinct sound. I find the album conceptually succeeds in presenting the chronology of machines from the late 60s to the late 80s, which is a great reference for musicians exploring the use of electronics in their music.
