Nine years after his previous release, one would have expected a collection of tracks, perhaps, of better quality, but this is a pleasant listening experience which contains several tracks which highlight his songwriting ability and his continuing mastery of the guitar solo. The only real highlight is album opener, ‘Verge of a Thing’, though his version of George Harrison’s ‘While My Guitr Gently Weeps’ is worth a listen.
