I don't know what is it with Horrendous but they will have so many style switch-ups that I don't really know what they are doing. Before their magnum opus that was Idol, they did try to expand their sound within various types of death metal, but it's all a little bit less impactful even if it had some nice heavy metal grooves.

okay i really enjoyed the album much more than i thought i would. the guitar riffs and solos make my ears orgasm because of how well put together and almost cocky or confident they are. I love the bass here, you can actually HEAR it (shocking, because metal hates bass), and it isnt just following the drums which is refreshing to say the least. the vocals are beyond cool, when i first heard them i wasnt the biggest fan but dude they seriously grow on you. the dry, almost raw and hoarse vocals ... read more
