JoJo foi uma das cantoras de R&B que ressurgiram com canções inovadoras e modernas sem parecer com a maioria, isso desde Too Little Too Late que ela soltava uns falsetes de invejar até Ariana Grande, em Man ela entra do ritmo da música romântica que estava em falta no R&B, porém deveria ser mais reconhecida já que ela é uma referência no estilo.
