Classic Geti with the concept record but Hi-Fidel keeps up very well. Production is a blend of contemporaneous pop rap trends— furthered by the song structuring— and more experimental takes on the electronic of the day. Not far progenating later art rap projects like 10 Haters or some cuts off DvT.
The more pop-, club-oriented sound got me catching a vibe on some songs, but for an over one-hour-long album, this wasn’t really it for me. There’s something about “Girl” that I really like, though— it reminds me of the early 2010s Cloud-Rap stuff, like Ruben Slikk and them.
