PREP

I guess this is basically Lounge music with elements of Disco and Jazz Funk. If PREP was going for a Jazz Funk album they missed, but I think the intent was to be kind of loungey. Almost the entire album sounds off-key to me. Think Mac DeMarco; kind of how he builds keys with off frequency notes. The music is nothing like Mac's, but the singer has an off-key voice and I wonder if the music was keyed into his it. Most of the songs I don't like. They songs are built fine and mostly ... read more
