Disco 2000

If Common People is Pulp’s greatest song, then Disco 2000 is their best. This song arguably stands as one of the 90s best and I adore it.

One of my absolute favourite songs from the 90's. Joyful, but very reminiscent of an entirely different era, something enhanced by the nostalgic lyricism that, while longing for the past, still gives a hopeful look to the future.

Carefree and youthful, with a nice detailed imagery in it's lyrics, an amazing instrumental and performance and you've got one of the best Pulp songs ever.
