It's been a really long time since I last listened to this album in full, at least since 2019, I used to listen to this album all the time. This album is so cool! Feeder are a British band, so a lot of the pretty sounds of the Post-Britpop era shine through in a lot of the album’s songs. Now, take that style of music and mix it with the more American style at the time (Post-Grunge/Power Pop) and it makes such an engaging listen. The songs on this, SLAP. I also really liked the wintery vibes this has at times. Just a very fun album to listen to.
Wow, how did this band fly over my radar? I have loved emo for years and I cannot recall this band ever being mentioned but I think I may have found a new nostalgic favourite. This is a solid sample of mature pop-punk with practically zero misses.
