Not a bad debut but very forgettable. Other than the Jay-Z single, nothing on here is very memorable. Good album but I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is the debut album from UK RnB outfit Another Level, formed to launch BMG imprint Northwestside.
The power of BMG no doubt convinced Jay Z that collaborating would be a good idea because the rest of the album is poor.
I remember them from the late 90's and remember them being pretty weak but revisiting over 25 years later, it's just riddled with cliches. Dane Bowers and Wayne Williams met at the Brit School and the lyrics suggest schoolboy level writing.
