The Concept

The first Slave album to feature Steve Arrington and the first where one can detect a shift towards a fusion of funk and soul. The album highlight for this reviewer is the slow burner ‘’The Way You Love is Heaven’. Yet, the listener will feel let down by the obvious disappointment that the tracks ‘Drak is Back’ and “We’ve Got Your Back’ are identical in arrangement.
