Okay, fine, it very obviously sounds like Aether Realm and Gloryhammer making a Bal-Sagoth tribute album. So what? That's freaking cool. Not enough bands have tried to do the Bal-Sagoth thing, and these guys are pretty damn convincing at it. Also, CUBE.
Part of me thinks this was supposed to be a meme, and I'm definitely laughing at times, but this is also one of the better releases I've listened to this year. Fans of Nekrogoblikon, Alestorm, and Galaktikon should check this out ASAP.
