Deeply unsettling, a dark, dark, dark listening experience. There is no semblance of comfort in this 30-minutes-long journey, you are completely lost in a liminal, gloomy, foggy soundscape that seems to be the perfect breeding ground for the manifestation of every single one of your fears. A strange, captivating and fantastic left turn for Diskette Park into ambience, drone and darkness.

I'm a sucker for albums that sound exactly like their album covers, and if this album cover intrigues you at all, what you see is what you'll get. A dark, unsettling sinking feeling as one long, winding ambient darkwave track sinks you into the shadows.

Diskette Park really crafted an otherworldly experience on this single-track LP. Deepfall almost reminds me of more recent Infinity Frequency works (e.g. The First Machine, Hologram person) but with a dense thickness and haze that reminds me of the ambient works of an artist like BAKGROUND. This feel creates for a really relaxing yet super dread filled listen that truly embodies the cover art.
