I don't mind him on his features with other TDE artists but I really don't find him to be a good enough vocalist nor a good enough songwriter to carry a song on his own. This wasn't very good at all.
I've been a fan of his work with SiR on 'Mood' and Kendrick on 'LOVE', but his debut EP "Run Wild Run Free" was totally underwhelming, pretty weak even. These four tracks are even more meditative, spacey love songs but really fail to catch me with anything memorable. His solo work feels so pointless and half-baked, and he hasn't had a great feature all year, having really dropped the ball in 2021.
literally nothing that made run wild run free so great is present here. that ep was adventurous and unique. this ep is basic and boring
