Link reaches for sophistication through a fusion of styles, but despite its ambition, there’s too little true ‘ink’ behind its ideas. A-Lin’s exquisite vocal techniques failed to carry the album.
genuinely shocked this has such a low rating. this album blends styles of pop, rock, and downtempo genres so well in a way that still feels cohesive and fleshed out. i really wish there were more electronic songs like “pretty please”. A-lin’s mature voice really fits ballads like “best friend” and also fun pop songs like “flower” & “love logic”.
