This album definitely doesn't have much of its own identity, it's just too reminiscent of a ton of other acts, but it's ok, because the other acts they're taking from are great, and they play well, so they're great too. It's a very soft prog album, I think a good one to listen to if you're vaguely into psych, and want to get into prog, not necessarily the best, but for the Beatles fan that wants to get into King Crimson, this is a good introduction. Keeping psychedelic rock alive in 1972, Tranquility is also part of the unique trend I've noticed of harmony bands during this era. They sing often as a chorus, and without a distinctive voice it may make them hard to distinguish or remember, and the Beatles elements reduces some of the creativity, but the music has a lot of talent, artistry, energy, and cohesion. I heard no duds, and it's a great playthrough.
