I have super mixed feelings on this album. On one hand, the instrumentals are immensely hard-hitting and enjoyable, but on the other, the vocals are…grating. The distortion is pumped to 11 on them, and while I think the production is super impressive and the progression on songs like 10.41597222 and Airport Bar are considerably well-done, I can’t imagine myself revisiting much of this tracklist due to the vocals (as well as some instances where the production gets somewhat ... read more
Interference is shockingly consistent for an industrial album, only having a couple of songs worse than the rest. It's also impressive that Cubanate were able to use effects tastefully instead of making a song just using them randomly as industrial bands sometimes like to do. These effects really enhanced the songs and contributed to the unique sound of this album.
