the instrumentation starts simple, yet doing what it intends to do perfectly, and builds up with each track. hyde's vocals are angelic and add to the soothing atmosphere of the album. it's an easy listen and you are rewarded for making it through as the final track embodies everything presented in the album and serves as a perfect note to end on. im tempted to give this a perfect score and with a few more listens i may be inclined to do so.

It's been 5 years since I discovered this and HOW IS THIS NOT GETTING MORE ATTENTION????!?! Hyde first album is a romantic beauty that I can't find. Every song here is majestic man. Especially that last track, SECRET LETTERS. This album doesn't shy too far from the spring feeling too, shallow sleep should be a first listen.
