Plastic Tree are one of the bigger names in the visual kei scene most notably because of their song KUCHUBURANKO as that song has been quite popular online recently and it deserves it it’s a phenomenal song in every way. Art kei/soft visual (misshitsu?). Even though not the most immediately cheerful there is a certain brightness, especially the guitars; although the brightness is one of a slow opening of eyes than a sunlight assault. Now, the atmosphere is also quite a little dreamy, definitely can feel the shoegaze inspiration, heavy use of reverb. what a great blend of alt rock, shoegaze and even tiny bit of ambient. something new for me and of course tefutefu and 218... are my favorite songs here and genuinely some of the best recent shoegaze ive heard.
