2021 was a great year for Biv's album releases, and ''carousel'' definitely ended it on a strong note. The tracklist is very solid, with great songs springled throughout. The dark sound of the production fits Biv's vocals quite well, especially when his voice is mixed in a more robotic fashion, such as on the second half of ''Safety First''.
