What has become of HIroshima? Great instrumentation and catchy melodies have been reduced to electronic/synth music loops that sound like they were recorded at home. I have missed June Kuramoto's koto, Johnny Mori's taiko drums, and Peter Hata's guitar for years (decades for some). Now there's no bass and no drums. Very disappointed in the album. Doesn’t even sound like the same band. Koto and jazz was the beauty - east meets west. Many of the tracks sound like over looped music, there is no more koto tension.
