Captured

"Captured" is Spice's first mixtape, succeeding her EP "So Mi Like It". It's not perfect in my opinion, but a good work, exploring dancehall and reggae music with many catchy and fun beats.

The opening track "Black Hypocrisy" is particularly striking and demonstrates Spice's pioneerism in discussing colorism in the industry. I wish she had kept the same serious tone but instead it varies with more sensual lyrics, some about relationships or fun ... read more
