I'm not usually a fan of live records, as they seem and feel rather pointless to me. If I already love or hate a studio-recorded song, why do I need a slightly altered version? But of course, when a song is performed live, it possesses a different sound-quality to it - a 'fullness' from having all instruments played together as well an entirely distinct energy.
