The five second breakdown at 2:52 in the song blew me away, I just wished they kept it going. If metal is the way they are heading, which it seems what they've been doing the last two years with the production and riffs, I'm all here for it.
There was one decent riff about two minutes, but that's about it. Really sounds like they're trying to balance their old-sound with this more metal adjacent, heavier side and it ends up coming out as tacky. Also the trap beats in the background are not it, I guess he got that idea from Sleep Token too.
Terrible songwriting but the instrumentals and production is carried through electrical artificial intelligence.
