Listened to this with my wife @verzephobe, she showed me half broken japanese a while ago and I thought it was pretty neat! But on a full listen, this would be great if the vocalist would shut up. The instrumentation is okay at some points but. Nah this ain't it

listened to this with my husband @lincoln after i've LOVED half broken japanese for a while but on a full listen .... Hm . im ngl i'd love it a whole lot more if this vocalist would just hush for a little bit. very similar opinion to avery but yk we did listen to it together so . half-broken is still peak tho

short and sweet folk punk EP from Yorkshire artist Ewy. It really is short, none of the songs clock in over three minutes, but it's got Ewy's style condensed in 10 minutes and it's an interesting listen nonetheless. There are some of the usual issues like not being able to make out/understand a number of the words, however Ewy's writing is incredibly raw and you can hear that in their voice. feel you breathe I can see being really cathartic, especially live, with its insistent repetition ... read more
