A surrealist sci-fi dystopia. The spiritual successor to Loaded With Power, but even more lo-fi, distorted and warped beyond comprehension. Very likely the most lo-fi hip hop record ever made. Even stuff like Part Time People Cage... or Part Time Key?, No Health Insurance or the aforementioned Loaded With Power don't quite compare to whatever fuckery MC Trachiotomy is pulling off on this record. The urge to call this one of the best hip-hop albums of the 1990s after ruthlessly cussing numerous 'masterpieces' of the genre is almost overpowering. It may just be pretension, but this album really demonstrates to me what I think hip-hop could be (And actually what it may be closer to in 2024), and appeals to me more than the endlessly slick and verbose albums that get a lot more attention.
