i checked out star boy's single 'Players Can Feel Heartbreak Too' when that was posted on r/playboicarti and im really glad that star boy is going so crazy on his style. CEO is the best Opium project and it's not even really Opium. This project's production, unlike the aforementioned record label, is ACTUALLY addictive. Sure, nothing really substantial goes on in this release, especially in the lyrical department, but those BEATS man... This album is just so much fun and it has such great production to the point that it's weaker aspects, like the lyricism, where star boy just kind of wanders around, don't really matter to me all that much. ... read more
it’s tuff i fw it, lots of rage and electroclash influence and elements, kinda like a blend of 2hollis x ken carson, latter of which he’s worked with a lot.
He doesn't offer anything performance-wise really. Stick to just producing bro ur work in Opium is amazing

Amazing production throughout, but mediocre vocals and lyrics throughout too. LA Girlz wouldve been generational but vocals ruined it.
